Pneumatic conveying has become a popular way of moving bulk solids from one place to another.  Pneumatic conveying is where bulk materials are moved from one point to another by using a gas to move the items.  Typically compressed air is used, with the exception of applications where explosive dust may be present.

The dust types produced by pneumatic conveying are typically small and the dust collection systems are usually pulsing applications, to allow for efficient material separation.
