 The
widest of all categories, powder processing takes on an unlimited number of potential
applications due to the complexity and variety of particulate. For most dust collection
applications, transfer of bulk solids or chemical powders is the most common. Cartridge
collectors are commonly used in blending applications or pneumatic conveying and
employ a variety of media technologies to accomplish desired needs. The severity
of changing dust loads flow capacity and product reclamation all play a role in
selecting the proper filter media.
Use the following Selection Guide when the OEM filter specification is not known
or you wish to select a different filter media.
Media recommended in the “good” column will provide adequate performance and represents
the lowest-cost option. “Better” media will provide improved overall performance
at a slight increase in cost. The “Best” option provides the highest level of performance,
longevity and minimal particle discharge for this application. |

The cylindrical is the most common type of cartridge filter with many OEMs. We can
make any length you need up to 60”. Our diameters range from 6.8” to 22.5”. We’ll
help you select the media that is correct for your application. |

diameter from 5.38” to 9.65” and any length up to 60”. The common OEMs are Mix and

The lip flange filter style can be made in diameters from 13.875” to 14.25” and
